What's involved?
Wood Therapy is a non-invasive body sculpting massage technique that uses specially designed wooden instruments to work over targeted areas of the body.
The treatment uses repetitive, rhythmic movements with different wooden tools to work across the body's contours, helping to massage and stimulate the appearance of areas affected by cellulite and localised fullness.
The techniques used during Wood Therapy are designed to encourage lymphatic flow and support the body's natural processes for moving excess fluid and waste products.
Wood Therapy can help to create a more defined and sculpted appearance, while leaving the body feeling lighter and refreshed.

What are the benefits?
Wood Therapy is designed to support body contouring and improve the appearance of the skin and underlying tissues.
The treatment may help to:
- Improve the appearance of cellulite
- Create a more sculpted and defined appearance
- Support lymphatic flow
- Reduce the feeling of water retention and puffiness
- Encourage movement of excess fluid
- Improve the appearance of skin tone and texture
- Enhance the body's natural contours
The treatment is non-invasive and can be incorporated into a regular body maintenance and wellness routine.
How many treatments will I need?
For the best results, we recommend a course of five to ten treatments, depending on your individual goals and what you are looking to achieve.
Most clients choose to begin with a course of five treatments, carried out once a week for five weeks. For clients wanting a longer or more intensive programme, a course of ten treatments can be carried out once a week for ten weeks.
One treatment alone is not generally sufficient to achieve the full results you may be looking for. Consistency is key, which is why we recommend committing to a course of treatments rather than booking on an occasional basis.
Following your initial course, we recommend monthly maintenance treatments to help maintain your results.
Every body is different, so your treatment plan will be tailored to your individual needs and goals.
Consistency is key
Wood Therapy is not a quick fix. Your results will be influenced not only by the treatments you have in the clinic, but also by what you do outside the clinic.
Staying hydrated, maintaining a balanced diet, keeping active and looking after your overall health and wellbeing are all important parts of supporting your results.
We recommend drinking approximately 2 to 3 litres of water throughout the day, unless you have been advised by your doctor or another healthcare professional to restrict your fluid intake.
Your lifestyle outside the clinic is imperative when it comes to achieving and maintaining the best possible results from your treatment programme.
Consistency is key with all of our treatments. You cannot expect to achieve the full benefits from just one or two sessions. Regular treatments are important for achieving and maintaining your results, with monthly treatments recommended as part of your ongoing routine.
Aftercare
Following your treatment, we recommend drinking plenty of water to support your body's normal processes and help you stay well hydrated.
We also recommend avoiding excessive alcohol consumption immediately following treatment and maintaining regular movement throughout the day.
Following your aftercare advice and maintaining a healthy lifestyle alongside your treatment course can help you get the most from your Wood Therapy programme.
Your individual treatment plan
Every client's body and goals are different, which is why we don't take a one-size-fits-all approach.
During your appointment, we will discuss what you are looking to achieve and create a treatment plan based on your individual needs. Your treatment may also be adapted as your body changes and your results develop throughout your course.
Appointment duration
Appointments are one hour in duration.
Please allow the full hour for your appointment. The hands-on treatment time will be slightly less to allow for consultation, preparation, changing and any necessary aftercare advice.
